What is Social Value
in Business?

Social value is created when businesses prioritise goals beyond profit, focusing on positive outcomes for communities, economies, and the environment. Social enterprises are structured to balance commercial success with meaningful social and environmental contributions.

Commercial & Impact

Unlike traditional businesses, social enterprises combine profit-making with long-term societal goals. By integrating social and environmental objectives into their operations, they deliver sustainable benefits for communities and stakeholders.

Sector Wide

Social enterprises operate across a variety of industries, demonstrating their adaptability and ability to create positive change in diverse sectors. From economic growth to environmental sustainability, their impact is both broad and meaningful.

Our Purpose

Westwood Recruitment Social Enterprise is dedicated to embedding social value into our recruitment processes. We achieve this by:

  • Ensuring fairness in job opportunities for all job seekers through honest and ethical recruitment practices.
  • Aligning our services with organisations that prioritise long-term positive impact.

At Westwood Recruitment, we prioritise the health and well-being of our placements and candidates. Our Wellbeing Programme includes:

  • A team of certified Mental Health First Aiders to provide immediate and essential support.
  • Access to 24-hour GP services for prompt and convenient medical assistance.

In addition to this, we provide ongoing support to our charitable partners. Our role extends beyond recruitment as we:
