Job Title: Business Development Manager - Commercial Waste
Location: Sheffield
Salary: £32,000 basic, OTE £50,000 (first year), plus company car
We are currently working with a forward-thinking, carbon-neutral company that provides cutting-edge waste management solutions. They are seeking an ambitious and results-driven Business Development Manager to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in business development or field sales, in waste or similar industry with a strong interest in sustainability and environmental impact.
Key Responsibilities:

Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the commercial waste management sector

Build and develop strong relationships with potential clients, ensuring excellent customer service and retention

Conduct market research to identify new leads, market trends, and opportunities for business growth

Create and deliver tailored proposals that meet the needs of prospective clients

Work closely with internal teams to support the business development process

Represent the company at networking events, trade shows, and industry conferences

Meet and exceed sales targets to contribute to the overall success of the company
Requirements:

Proven experience in business development or sales - experience in waste management or a related industry is a plus, but not essential.

Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills

Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset and the ability to work independently

A passion for sustainability and a commitment to environmental responsibility

Full UK driving license (company car provided)
