Job Title: Technical Sales Consultant – Water Services
Reports To: Legionella Sales Manager
Our Client has been a market leader in the compliance industry for over 40 years; this Technical Sales Consultant for Water Services role, is a great opportunity to join an experienced and passionate team. As Duct Cleaning & Legionella experts, Our Client provides services and training in all aspects of water, ventilation, and grease hygiene, including TR19 Grease Compliance Cleaning & L8 Compliance to the public sector, utility companies, industrial, commercial, and retail clients. Our Client is established with rigorous growth plans; we are looking for talented employees who are willing to learn and want to join our knowledgeable team.
Responsibilities:
As a Technical Sales Consultant for water services, you will follow sales processes to provide a smooth and efficient service to customers, whilst helping to grow Our Client’s water hygiene business by maximizing sales opportunities.
You will often be the first point of contact for new water hygiene business inquiries, so a friendly, welcoming, and professional approach is important.
In addition to handling new water hygiene business inquiries, you will proactively manage your time across various workstreams within the sales function. Tasks will include preparing and chasing quotes, renewing service contracts, and providing technical support to the wider sales team. You will have excellent organization and time management skills.

- Prepare, send, and follow up quotes relating to Our Client’s water hygiene business, working towards monthly KPI’s.
- Nurture good relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Confidently handle inbound and outbound calls to new and existing customers.
- Proactively respond to new business inquiries.
- Identify and maximize sales opportunities.
- Learn the key fundamentals of legionella control.
- Contribute towards the output of the sales team shared mailbox.
- Manage work and time effectively to ensure that deadlines are met.

- At least two years’ sales experience in a water hygiene related role
- Proven track record of generating new business and growing existing accounts
- Excellent administration and organizational skills
- High-level IT skills in Microsoft Office 365
- Ability to show technical understanding of water hygiene legislation and guidance.
