Over the next 12 months, we are donating an incredible £23,100 to fund a permanent work readiness programme for GMYN’s young people. This initiative will provide structured, high-quality support to help young people build confidence, develop essential skills, and take steps towards sustainable employment.

Why GMYN?

GMYN is an organisation that continuously inspires us with their unique and impactful programmes that are crucial to supporting young people across Manchester. Their dedication to creating opportunities for young individuals to grow and thrive aligns perfectly with our mission at Westwood Recruitment. It’s a privilege to extend our support further and contribute to their incredible work.

This new sponsorship builds on the strong relationship we’ve already developed with GMYN. We initially partnered with them by assisting in employability workshops, then became headline supporters of the Westwood Cup—an inspiring 5-a-side football tournament designed to engage and motivate young people. Additionally, we proudly supported their Big Give Christmas Challenge as match funders.

Now, we’re taking that support to the next level by ensuring that GMYN has the resources to provide a permanent work readiness programme. This commitment means that young people will have consistent access to valuable employability opportunities, helping them build a future filled with possibilities.

The Impact of This Partnership

The work readiness programme will play a crucial role in helping young people navigate the challenges of employment. Through mentorship, workshops, and hands-on learning experiences, GMYN can empower young individuals to secure jobs, explore career options, and gain the confidence needed to excel in the workforce.
