Westwood Recruitment continues building partnership with Live Great Adventures: A New Approach to Team Socials

Westwood Group partnered with Live Great Adventures (LGA), an organisation that involves outdoor experiences to improve mental health, wellbeing, and social connections to host an incredible event for all team members at the Westwood Group.
Westwood believes that team away days offer an invaluable opportunity for employees to connect, build stronger relationships, and work on new skills outside of the office. The main purpose of this away day is to provide our employees with an opportunity to step away from their routine work environment to build on skills, develop new ones, and just have a day to have fun and destress.
LGA, Westwood’s charity partner brought the whole team together and facilitated our company’s first away day involving all our employees trekking through scenic landscapes, solving puzzles, and working together towards victory. The day was filled with riddles, problem solving, and exploring outdoors with treasure hunting. The main highlight was witnessing how well everyone supported one another, encouraging teammates, and showcasing leadership.
Supporting Suicide Prevention Day with LGA
Westwood’s collaboration with LGA extends far beyond team away days. Together, we are committed to driving positive change, particularly in areas that matter most to our employees and the wider community. In honour of Suicide Prevention Day, Westwood partnered with LGA to host an event dedicated to raising awareness and providing vital support for mental health. Through a series of group activities, and open discussions, this event aimed to break the stigma surrounding mental health and encourage open conversations about wellbeing.
This initiative reinforced the importance of prioritising mental health both in and beyond the workplace. By fostering an open dialogue and encouraging proactive support, we continue to champion a workplace culture where employees feel heard, valued, and supported.
Our partnership started in November 2022 because LGA’s mission aligns perfectly with the company’s commitment to workplace wellness as well as social value. As we move forward, we remain committed to strengthening our partnership with LGA and driving impactful initiatives that promote mental health awareness and overall wellbeing.
